Tutorial

You can now play a tutorial that explains the basics of battle and how dice loadout works

Enemy Intelligence

The enemy now rolls their own dice and spends them on techniques. The turn order now has changed, there are no retaliation moves anymore. Instead, players get to spend dice and use as many techniques as they want/can afford, and then end their turn. The enemy will now use all their techniques that are paid, in order. The "sneaky" battle tag is now obsolete (but still exist for exhausting a technique intentionally, will be renamed later)

  • Body and Mind: Immune to poison


New battle tags

  • Overflow (Wisdom): Over-paying a technique with this tag pays the excess amount to the technique below it (if available)
  • Hungry (Fury): Technique deals +2 damage but weakens every round it didn't get to eat a die
  • Fatesworn (Mystery): +1 bonus potency for any remaining re-rolls but 0 potency if no re-rolls remain


New Stickers

  • Lucky Charm (Common, Rare, Mythic): Each give you +1 rerolls in combat


 
Fixes & Improvements

 
Changes

Re-named types:

  • Colorless = Curiosity
  • Water = Wisdom
  • Fire = Fury
  • Grass = Patience
  • Moon = Mystery


Balancing

  • a few tweaks but the balancing is now off since the whole battle dynamic changed, enemies are generally stronger now


Tweaks

  • Setting screen now easier to navigate using category tabs and accessed from a new pause menu, which now includes the main menu and quit game button instead of the settings screen
  • Dice Bag changed to cycling types instead of opening a circular menu for each die. Works quicker and now also includes wisdom type as selectable die.


Bug fixes

  • fixed dice loadout not saving
  • fixed Leech not healing
  • fixed group healing not working (e.g. with Soothing Mist)
  • fixed issue where technique button was not selectable after switching to an animon with a different amount of known techniques than the previous one
  • (TTS): fixed an issue where the next die would not be selected after paying a technique
  • fixed issue where starter selection could be spammed while transition was playing
  • fixed issue with gamepad shoulder buttons triggering multiple times
  • minor fixes
