Marbleous Update - Patch 0.0.12
Permanent upgrades are here, everyone!
A new content update is here and now you get to spend your hard-earned marbles on persistent upgrades. You might notice that some things you know are missing, like starting items or the Fusion option in the Hammam (formerly Kiosk). Those are now upgrades that you can buy now, among other things like unlocking additional starters.
Not that marbles from a run only transfer when the run is over (finished or game over). Adding an "abort run" option is on my list.
But since I don't like taking things away from you without giving you something as well, here's a special starter that you can unlock with the code SQRRL282. There's a code input button now on the starter selection screen.
Additionally, some terms got renamed to fit better into the vibe of the game:
- Techniques are now Tricks
- Types are now Aspects
- Battle Tags are now Flavors
New Stuff
Collection Screen: You can now see which animons, stickers, and tricks you have collected so far and how many are still missing. Note that tricks only get counted when an animon learns or knows them, not by just having the item in the inventory.
"Entropy" effect: When payin a mystery trick with a Mystery die, a random die gets rerolled
New Items
- Status condition heal items for Burning, Poison, and Tide
- Exp Bindshard: Animons captured with this bindshard immediately receive a chunk of exp
